To the editor:

I am writing to strongly object to the cell tower being built in the Pittsfield neighborhood of Alma Avenue. When I read of the huge tower being constructed, I thought “it couldn’t happen on my street.”

Or could it? I live on a dead-end street with a wooded section at the end. Could something dangerous be built there without notifying the abutters? Big money via Verizon has spoken in the Alma Avenue neighborhood. Unfortunately corporations speak loud and clear, not only in this neighborhood, but in our country.

I am adding my voice to stop this cell tower. It is a dangerous infringement of our American rights.
